The Costa Calida (warm coast) in the region of Murcia lies between Costa Blanca and Costa de Almeria on the south-eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula. With over 250 km of delightful coastline bathed by over 320 days of sunshine per year, this largely undiscovered and unspoilt region of Spain has so much to offer.

Benefitting from an all year round mild climate with average winter temperatures no lower than 14°C, rising to an average mximum of 35°C in the summer, the Costa Calida is one of Spain's most profitable agricultural regions for growing salad crops such as lettuces and tomatoes as well as oranges, lemons and almonds.

The region's capital city, Murcia, lies just 75 km south of Alicante (about 40 minutes drive) and only 30 km west of Torrevieja and is well served by an excellent road and rail network. A typically Spanish, university vibrant city, with a wealth of art galleries and museums combined with a mix of traditional and modern Spanish culture and architechure.
